Sorbent TVC pitch

This was a 2009 TVC pitch developed for Sorbent, which humorously juxtaposes the ruggedness of an “Outlaw” persona with the softness of Sorbent products. The spot, developed for Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and produced by The Sweetshop, suggests that even those who embrace a tough exterior appreciate a little comfort.

My contributions

As part of the in-house creative team at The Sweetshop, I developed this pitch in collaboration with director Sam Holst. This included:

  • Brainstorming creative concepts and approaches with the director.
  • Conducting visual research to inform the aesthetic and style of the TVC.
  • Contributing to the copywriting for the treatment.
